LEICESTER Fox Cubs are back in National Development Trophy action on Wednesday as they make the trip to league leaders King’s Lynn (7.30pm).
The Fox Cubs have won one of their opening four matches after an injury-hit campaign, and they face a Young Stars side who have a 100 per cent record so far.
It is, however, close to a complete septet for Leicester with Mason Watson and Stene Pijper back from recent injuries.
The club are closing in on a replacement for Caydin Martin, who has quit racing, with the unattached Harry Fletcher coming in at reserve on Wednesday.
Team manager Jen Crossland said: “It’s going to be a very tough one, we know what a good side King’s Lynn are, and they showed it when they won on our track last month.
“But the boys will go there and give it their very best shot, and that’s all we can ask them to do.
“We have to use an unattached rider to replace Caydin, and Harry is just back from injury himself and came through practice at Workington at the weekend, so we thank him for standing in.”
KING’S LYNN: Jody Scott, Ashton Vale, Max Perry, Harrison Rogers, Luke Harison, Cooper Rushen, Calum Mitchell.
LEICESTER: Will Cairns, Mason Watson, Ace Pijper, Stene Pijper, Sonny Springer, Max Broadhurst, Harry Fletcher.
